Continuous change has made adaptiveness an absolute modern essential.

And yet most organizations aren’t as adaptive as needed.

AdaptQ is the first assess-learn-grow program for measurably improving adaptiveness. It solves the #1 imperative identified by leaders: ensuring an organization’s ability to adapt above the pace of change.

For all its importance, there has been no valid model for adaptiveness. (Odd, right?)

Frustrated by this missing model, the team behind AdaptQ got to work developing a deeply researched and validated model.

Two years of comprehensive research, modeling, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses produced AdaptQ — a program designed to build adaptive strength in leaders, their teams and their organizations.

Our work has given us a unique perspective on adaptiveness, exemplified by these three beliefs.

1. Adaptiveness can be strengthened in everyone.

Adaptiveness is not innate; it’s something everyone can get better at once you and your team have a common, accurate mental model.

2. Adaptiveness should be more about innovation, not just resilience.

Most people have a skewed view of adaptiveness, solely about bouncing back from an unexpected blow. It actually is just as much about seeing new possibilities and creating your own future.

3. Organizations can only adapt as fast as their leaders.

Leaders all too often recognize the need for others to get better at adapting while failing to recognize they themselves must, too.
